Fox Computers is a web agency from Sissach near Basel, founded in 2008 and specialising in websites, web apps, shops, automation and AI. We have been working as a web agency since 2010, as a small team with one fixed point of contact who knows your project from the first conversation to well after go-live. Since 2008 we have worked with more than 200 clients and projects, including the energy configurator for Tiba, the job board for Rhy Personal and the online shop for FASTECH. We mostly work with WordPress and our own theme instead of templates, and for special requirements we develop custom solutions with PHP and Laravel.

Fox Computers is based in Sissach in the canton of Basel-Landschaft and works for clients in the Basel region and across Switzerland. The first conversation takes place by phone or at our office in Sissach. After that, we work with clients wherever they are. Our references include organisations from Basel such as IFP Basel and Surprise, as well as ISSI in Bern. For AI projects involving sensitive data, we set up solutions on your own server or with a Swiss hosting provider so the data stays in Switzerland.

Prices at Fox Computers start at CHF 2,200 for an AI potential analysis and CHF 3,000 for a landing page. A website with your own design costs from CHF 4,500, the Website Full Service package from CHF 7,000, and a web app or online shop from CHF 10,000. In AI, process automation starts at CHF 5,000, local AI at CHF 7,500 excluding hardware and an AI application at CHF 12,000. Work billed by time costs CHF 130 per hour for web and CHF 160 per hour for automation and AI. Before we start, you receive a fixed-price quote.

Most projects at Fox Computers take between one and eight weeks; web apps, online shops and AI applications can take longer. A landing page is ready in one to three weeks, a website with your own design in three to five, and the Website Full Service package in four to eight weeks. Web apps and online shops take eight weeks or more. In AI, the potential analysis takes one day plus evaluation, process automation two to four weeks, local AI three to six and an AI application six weeks or more. If copy, images and feedback are ready early, things move faster.

If you want to become visible and win enquiries, you need a web service. If routine work is costing you too much time, you need one from automation and AI. At Fox Computers, web covers new websites, redesigns, landing pages, web apps and online shops. Automation and AI covers process optimisation, automation, local AI and AI applications. The two often go hand in hand: enquiries from the web form land in the CRM automatically, or a configurator like Tiba’s creates ballpark quotes as PDFs. Every project at Fox Computers follows five steps: kick-off, concept and design, development, go-live and support. In the kick-off we clarify goals, target audience, scope and deadlines. In the concept phase we work out structure and design, and for AI projects the choice of tools and models. During development we write the code, connect systems and test on every device or with real cases. At go-live we train you so you can manage content yourself or understand the automation. After that we remain your point of contact. Throughout the project you have one fixed contact person in Sissach.

With a small agency like Fox Computers, you talk to the same person who knows your project from the first conversation through to support. There are no handovers between consulting, design and development where knowledge gets lost. Decisions are made quickly and questions are answered directly. After go-live, Fox Computers remains your fixed point of contact, available Monday to Thursday, for questions, changes and extensions. For websites there is a service contract from CHF 1,560 per year covering updates, backups, security and small changes. That keeps WordPress, the theme and plugins up to date without you having to worry about it. For automations and AI solutions, we can monitor operations and keep models and interfaces up to date. Anything not covered by the contract is billed by time: CHF 130 per hour for web, CHF 160 per hour for automation and AI.

Fox Computers plans websites and AI solutions in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where you have customers in the EU, the GDPR. For websites we keep forms lean, integrate third-party services with care and encrypt data in transit. For automation and AI we first clarify which data is processed at all. If you wish, sensitive data stays with a local AI on your own server or with a Swiss hosting provider. With cloud models we check where the data ends up and whether it is used for training. We are no substitute for legal advice, but we tell you openly what has been solved technically.
